Deer jaw bone, courtesy of the woods around my house. I’ve been avoiding the woods since the ticks are horrible this season. Since we lacked a winter the ticks didn’t die off and have moved all the way up into the lawn. Anywho, I was out in the yard trying to befriend a chipmunk when I spotted this a few feet into the woods. It’s rather chewed up and I haven’t found the rest of the skeleton, so something dragged it and left it there. My father’s comment:“I bet you a buck it’s a doe.” -_-
